When Love Meets Innovation
Valentine’s Day is a time for connection, emotions, and shared experiences. For brands, it presents a unique opportunity to engage consumers in meaningful and memorable ways. In 2026, Revello set out to create a Valentine’s activation that would go beyond traditional promotions and deliver something truly unforgettable.
To bring this vision to life, Brand Corridor designed and executed a one-of-a-kind experiential marketing campaign that transformed the way couples interacted with a brand. Hosted simultaneously at Kandy City Center and Havelock City Mall, the activation introduced visitors to an immersive multiplayer game controlled entirely by the human mind.
The result was one of the most talked-about Valentine’s experiences in Sri Lanka, attracting hundreds of participants and creating genuine moments of excitement, laughter, and connection.
The Challenge
Valentine’s Day activations often follow familiar formats—photo booths, giveaways, contests, and product sampling. While effective, these experiences can sometimes struggle to create a lasting emotional connection with audiences.
Revello wanted to stand apart from the crowd by offering an experience that would:
- Capture attention instantly
- Encourage participation from couples
- Align with the emotional nature of Valentine’s Day
- Create a memorable brand interaction
- Generate social sharing and word-of-mouth engagement
- Position the brand as modern, innovative, and exciting
The challenge was clear: create an experience that people had never seen before.
The Concept: Two Hearts, One Destination
Our creative team developed a custom multiplayer game inspired by the idea of two hearts coming together.
Inside a digital maze, two heart-shaped characters began from separate starting points. The objective was simple: guide both hearts through the maze and unite them at a designated destination.
While the gameplay itself was engaging, the real magic came from how participants controlled the game.
Instead of using traditional controllers, keyboards, or touchscreens, players controlled their hearts using only their concentration and focus.
This transformed a simple game into an unforgettable experience that combined emotion, technology, and entertainment.

Introducing EEG Mind-Control Technology
To make the activation truly extraordinary, Brand Corridor integrated MindWave EEG technology into the experience.
Participants wore EEG headsets capable of measuring brainwave activity and attention levels in real time. These signals were processed through a custom-built system that translated focus and concentration into game controls.
As participants concentrated, their heart moved through the maze. Losing focus caused the movement to slow down, while sustained concentration helped guide the heart toward the final destination.
For many participants, this was their first encounter with brain-computer interaction technology.
The moment they realized they could move objects on a screen using only their minds created an immediate sense of amazement and curiosity.
The activation wasn’t just a game—it was an experience that felt futuristic and magical.
Why Audiences Loved It
One of the biggest strengths of experiential marketing is its ability to create emotional engagement. This activation achieved exactly that.
Couples weren’t simply watching a demonstration; they became active participants in the experience.
The game encouraged:
- Teamwork and collaboration
- Healthy competition
- Emotional connection
- Curiosity and discovery
- Social interaction
- Shareable moments
Participants laughed, celebrated victories together, and often returned to challenge friends and family members.
The combination of Valentine’s Day emotions and cutting-edge technology created a powerful experience that resonated with audiences across all age groups.

Activating Two Locations Simultaneously
The campaign was executed in parallel at two of Sri Lanka’s most popular shopping destinations:
- Kandy City Center
- Havelock City Mall
Running the activation simultaneously across multiple locations required careful planning, technical coordination, and operational excellence.
By maintaining consistent experiences across both venues, we ensured that every participant enjoyed the same high-quality interaction regardless of location.
The Power of Technology-Driven Experiential Marketing
Today’s consumers expect more than advertisements. They seek experiences.
Technology-driven activations allow brands to move beyond traditional communication and create direct, memorable interactions with their audiences.
When combined with strong storytelling and creative execution, technologies such as EEG, AI, motion tracking, augmented reality, and gamification can transform ordinary brand engagements into extraordinary experiences.
The Revello Valentine’s activation demonstrated how emerging technologies can be used not just as a novelty, but as a meaningful tool for emotional engagement.
Creating Moments People Remember
Experiential marketing succeeds when people leave with a story worth sharing.
For many participants, the idea of controlling a game with their minds was something they had never imagined possible. The experience sparked conversations, generated excitement, and created a deeper connection between consumers and the Revello brand.
Most importantly, it delivered something every brand strives for: genuine engagement.
Looking Ahead
As brands continue searching for new ways to connect with consumers, immersive and technology-driven experiences will play an increasingly important role in marketing strategies.
At Brand Corridor, we believe the future of brand engagement lies at the intersection of creativity, technology, and human emotion.
The Revello Valentine’s Day activation stands as a perfect example of how innovative thinking can transform a simple consumer interaction into an unforgettable experience.
Whether it’s custom game development, interactive installations, AI-powered experiences, EEG integrations, or large-scale brand activations, our team continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible in experiential marketing.
Because the most powerful marketing doesn’t just capture attention—it creates memories.
